Hapi na-a-ame, hapi hapi

hapi hapi name, igo antap igo antap my King, Jesus Krais Emanuel. I love the Melanesian rhythm and clapping and Sunday church is good for spiritual revival made all the more so by the Choir. Igo antap = he goes on top = he goes to heaven = He is risen. As well as the church music this past fortnight or so I have been able to listen to the Catholoc students rehearse some of their items for the opening of ther new Campus Church by the Bishop yesterday. During the afternoon we could hear the Bougainville thong and bamboo band. The bamboo pipes are about two metres long and of various diameters from say 15-25 cms.
