Is David Hicks guilty?

I've got no idea. Guilty of what? Fighting with the enemy? What enemy? The Taliban was the friend of the USA during USSR's invasion of Afghanistan. When did it become the enemy of the USA? What made it the enemy of Australia? When did David Hicks become the enemy of Australia? Was the Wheat Board the enemy of Australia when it took kick-backs from Saddam Hussein? From what date would the supply of goods or services have made a person or organisation an enemy of Australia? What if a Taliban had bought goods from me over the internet - would that make me a traitor? Say it was electrical wire that could be used for making a detonator? Can I supply goods or services to an enemy? If I can supply services, what services? Can I supply medicines to fix up a Taliban soldier so he can live to shoot another bullet at an Australian? Apparently David Hicks has been charged with certain offences but as to whehter he actually committed them, how would I know? How would you know? Oh, the President Bush of the USA said so. Oh well that makes it alright then. Why waste our time with juries and courts of law? Just ask the President Bush of the USA whether a suspect is guilty and execute them straight out.

David Hicks made the decision to become a Muslim and joined the Taliban. This in itself is a crime against humanity, as a member of this organisation he would gladly murder you and your family in the name of Allah. Just think about it before you go bleating what a tough time he is having. He and his parents should be thanking the Americans that he never got a bullet in the scone before he left Afganistan.
